About Us
Madha Higher Secondary School for the Deaf-Mute is a Charitable Institution that is exclusively dedicated to Educating Deaf-Mute Children. The Institution was Founded by the late Rev. Fr. Dr. A. Savarimuthu, Ph.D. and is currently Managed by Mr. I. Mariaselvam, M.A., M.Ed., who also serve as the Correspondent and Managing Director. Mrs. A. Pitchai Jothimani, A.SEd., M.A., M.A., B.Ed., is the Headmistress of the School.
Headmistress’s Message:
As the Headmistress of this Institution, I feel privileged to work in this Peaceful Environment and serve the Silent and Innocent Souls at the Deaf-Mute School. I am grateful to the Management for allowing me to serve in this School. Education is Unique for every Child, and our Well-Qualified, Specially-Trained Teachers strive to achieve 100% Results Every Academic Year. We put in our best effort to ensure that the children receive the Best Education Possible. I am proud to work with Deaf-Mute Children and admire their Intelligence.
OBJECTIVES
- Helping and guiding the deaf-mute who are socially boycotted.
- Giving education and arranging vocaional training for the backward and illiterate candidates of a deaf-mute.
- Providing Medical Aids (Hearing aids), Teaching Aids and Daily Living Skills (DLS).
- Helping the Deaf-Mute students to bring out their hidden talents in them through Handicraft, Tailoring, Yoga, Drawing, Computer, Sports, Games, Dramas, Dances etc.,
- Helping them for pursuing higher education and self-employment
The school moulds them self disciplined and God-fearing. Madha High School for the Deaf-Mute has “Service to Humanity Glorifies God” as its motto.
