Madha Higher Secondary School for Differently abled
Madha Higher Secondary School for the Differently abled is run by Integrated Research & Reconstruction Organization of India. Rev. Fr. Dr. A. Savarimuthu, M.A., (History), M.A., Ph.D., (Communication), M.S., Ph.D., (Counseling), Ph.D., (Spirituality), (U.S.A), is the Founder & Director and Mr. I. Maria Selvam is the Correspondent.
This school is established on 05.07.1996 with the main purpose of the giving opportunity to young differently abled and deserving students. It has been approved by the State Commissioner for Disabled, Chennai. Students from stds 1-12 are studying in this school.
The students are given good education in all aspects. All-round personality development is incorporated with teaching according to the syllabus of Government of Tamil Nadu.
To help the differently abled students to discover the hidden talents in them through sports, games, dramas, street plays, dances etc., and motivate educated youth to help their illiterate brethren by launching, “Each one, teach one”. Madha Higher Secondary School for Differently abled has a motto that says “Service to humanity Glorifies God”. The main aim of the school is to develop the differently abled student’s skill and ability in all aspects and train them to become good citizens of India and also develop their self-confidence in their life in future.
Madha Higher Secondary School for Differently abled is shifted to new campus from 2007 at Needamangalam Main Road, Sakkottai, Which is about 3km from Kumbakonam, the Taluk Headquarters of Thanjavur District.
